




UNIT 9 PATCHWAY TRADING ESTATE, PATCHWAY, BRISTOL
RGP were commissioned to design & deliver a new distribution centre for Whistl on Plot 9 Patchway Trading Estate, demolishing the existing obsolete distribution warehouse which provided 6,866m2 of floorspace. The new building provides 7,666 sqm of B8 warehouse, office & ancillary floorspace with 14 dock levellers & 2 level access doors with provision for future installation of sprinkler tanks. The 1.6Ha site includes a 50m deep service yard with 16 HGV parking bays, 25 trailer parking bays, 11 van parking bays, 52 visitor & staff parking bays.
The development is designed to BREEAM Very Good and incorporates sustainable urban drainage systems, photo voltaic roof array, air source heat pump, EV charging for cars & vans with the provision for future charging of HGV tractors.
The development is the first stage of the incremental redevelopment of the Trading Estate & is located close to the interchanges of the M4, M5 & M49 providing direct routes to South Wales, the Midlands, London and Exeter and the wider South West region. The area has seen the recent development of business, industrial & logistics centres at Avonmouth & North Bristol.
